kentucky skinned dogs

Skinned dogs left beside eastern Kentucky road

The game warden of an eastern Kentucky county is on the search for whoever left a bloody sight along a local road: three skinned dogs.

Retired police officer George Coleman told WKYT-TV that he and his daughter saw one of the carcasses beside a Greenup County road.
They decided it likely was a pet dog because the body was too large to be a coyote.
The game warden had recently been searching the area for illegal hunters and poachers. He didn't make any arrests but left his business card in plain sight on the trail as a warning.
The skinned dogs were found the next day.
Animal cruelty charges could be filed against the culprit
