Jillian Michaels Adopting a Baby

Jillian Michaels, the trainer on the hit show “The Biggest Loser”  announced that she’s leaving to start a family. Michaels is trying to adopt from the Democratic Republic of Congo.Michaels, 36, told Access Hollywood she has completed the proper paperwork, had a physical, and gone through an FBI background check as part of the process of adopting a child from the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Michaels said she wants to concentrate on raising the child and then return to television in 2012.

The tough trainer said she is being open about the process of adoption, which could take as long as a year, because she feels like she has nothing to hide.
